Mumbai defeat Delhi, crowned Indian women’s league 2025 champions

Indian women’s league 2025 has concluded, with Mumbai again crowned champions, securing their second title on Saturday, March 15, 2025. After defeating Delhi by seven wickets, Mumbai celebrates in joy as they regain their title after the Indian women’s league 2024 defeat. 

The team faced several setbacks early in the game by losing top openers Hayley Matthews and Yastika Bhatia, placing them at 14 for 2. 

However, Mumbai captain Harmanpreet Kaur balanced the game by scoring 66 off 44. The quick and efficient performance of the captain proved vital to the team’s victory. 

Nat Sciver-Brunt also delivered a standout performance, claiming 3 wickets for 30 runs. This earned her the Player of the Series title.

Despite winning the coin toss, Delhi struggled. Marizanne Kapp fought hard, but it wasn’t enough, as DC finished at 141 for 9.
