The England Women's tour of Ireland ODI series 2024 is scheduled from Saturday, September 7 to Wednesday, September 11.

This three-match ODI series is part of the ongoing ICC Women’s Championship 2022/23-2025.

According to the schedule, all three matches will be played over a span of five days at the Stormont Cricket Ground in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

In the recently concluded Sri Lanka Women’s tour of Ireland in 2024, Ireland Women made history by winning the series 2-1, marking their first victories in the championship.

England Women, meanwhile, head into the series ranked second in the championship standings.

Before the start of the ODI series, Una Raymond-Hoey is set to return to the Irish squad after suffering an injury during a T20I against Sri Lanka Women in August.

While Raymond-Hoey returns, Ireland will be without Laura Delany, who is sidelined with an injury. Gaby Lewis will continue as captain in her place.

England Women will be led by Kate Cross and while they prepare to face a confident Irish team, the English are also gearing up for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 later this year.

The Ireland Women vs Sri Lanka Women ODI 2024 series will start in Belfast on Friday, August 16. 

As per the Ireland Women vs Sri Lanka Women ODI 2024 schedule, the upcoming three-match series is part of the ICC Women's Championship 2022-25.

The ICC Women's Championship 2022-25  is being contested by 10 teams to determine qualification for the Women's Cricket World Cup 2025.

Newly-crowned Asia Cup champions Sri Lanka Women will lock horns with Ireland Women in a two-match T20 international series starting on Sunday, August 11.

As per the Ireland Women vs Sri Lanka Women T20 2024 schedule, the second and final game of the series is scheduled to take place on August 13.

Both Ireland Women vs Sri Lanka Women T20 2024 matches will be played at the Pembroke Cricket Club in Dublin.

Sri Lanka Women are currently ranked seventh in the ICC women’s T20I team rankings while Ireland Women are placed at 10th.

Meanwhile, the Sri Lanka women's national cricket team will miss the services of their captain Chamari Athapaththu due to her commitments with Team Oval in the 100-ball league held in England and Wales.

During a Women's Quadrangular Series encounter, the Mithali Raj-led side posted their first 350-plus score to register India Women’s highest score in ODI cricket history.

Meanwhile, New Zealand holds the record for the highest score in women’s ODI cricket history.

The India women's cricket team scripted history against Ireland Women in a Women's Quadrangular Series clash in May 2017. Electing to bat first, the Women in Blue rode on twin centuries from openers Deepti Sharma (188) and Punam Raut (109) to record India Women’s highest score in ODI cricket. Later, Mithali Raj-led India bowled out Ireland Women for 109 in 40 overs to secure a massive 249-run victory in Potchefstroom.

333/5 vs England Women, September 2022

The India Women’s second-highest score in ODI cricket came against England Women in Canterbury in September 2022. During the second ODI of India Women’s tour of England, captain Harmanpreet Kaur slammed an unbeaten 143 along with contributions from Harleen Deol (58) and Smriti Mandhana (40) to post a mammoth score of 333/5 in their 50 overs. In reply, England Women were bundled out for 245 in 44.2 overs as the visitors won the ODI by 88 runs.

325/3 vs South Africa Women, June 2024

The India Women’s third-highest score in ODI cricket was recorded against South Africa in Bengaluru in June 2024. The Harmanpreet Kaur-led hosts posted 325/3 in their 50 overs in the second ODI of a three-match series at the iconic M Chinnaswamy Stadium. India rode on opener Smriti Mandhana’s 136 off 120 balls and Harmanpreet’s unbeaten 88-ball 103 to post a huge total on the board.

The Scotland women's national cricket team will take on Ireland Women in a historic multi-format series to be played in Almeria, Spain, starting on Tuesday, October 17.

As per the Ireland Women vs Scotland Women in Spain 2023 schedule, the white-ball series comprises three one-day internationals and two T20 internationals.

Meanwhile, the upcoming three-match ODI series will be Scotland Women's first official ODI since gaining full ODI status in 2022. 

Led by captain Kathryn Bryce, Scotland Women will head into the series high on confidence after topping the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier.

The Ireland Women tour of Netherlands 2023 will start on Monday, August 14 in Amstelveen, Netherlands.

The Netherlands Women will host Ireland Women in a three-match T20 international series. The Dutch will later face Jersey in a T20I series after these three games.

Ireland are currently 10th in the ICC T20I women’s rankings, while Netherlands are in 16th spot.

Led by skipper Laura Delany, Ireland Women have roped in Freya Sargent, who performed superbly in the domestic circuit and the Under-19s World Cup. She will be hoping to have a positive impact on her international debut.

Ahead of the series, the Dutch have also named their 14-player squad. Netherlands Women’s coach, Shane Deitz announced his selection of the team that will take on Ireland. 

They have a few new faces from last year U19s squad in the team. The Irish are looking to create quality depth in their squad and will be eager to make a positive impression against the Dutch.

After retaining the Women’s Ashes, reigning world champions Australia Women will lock horns with Ireland Women in a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series starting on Sunday, July 23 in Dublin.

The upcoming ODI series is part of the 2022-25 ICC Women’s Championship. The third edition of the ICC Women’s Championship is being contested by 10 teams to determine qualification for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup to be held in India in 2025.

The Australia women's national cricket team will aim to bounce back after losing both the ODI and T20I series to arch-rivals England in the recently-concluded Women’s Ashes series. 

While Australia and England ended the multi-format Women’s Ashes series level on eight points, the former retained the Women’s Ashes as they were the reigning holders of the urn.

World’s top-ranked women’s ODI side Australia will once again miss the services of their regular captain Meg Lanning and will be led by wicketkeeper-batter Alyssa Healy.

The West Indies women's national cricket team will lock horns with Ireland Women in a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series, starting on Monday, June 26.

The ODI series is part of the ICC Women’s Championship, which is used to determine qualification for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup to be held in India in 2025.

West Indies Women have announced their 18-member squad to be led by star all-rounder Hayley Matthews.  

Ahead of Ireland’s tour of West Indies 2023, the hosts have appointed Robert Samuels as their interim coach.

Australia, Pakistan and hosts Ireland will square off in the Ireland Tri-Nation Women's T20I Series 2022, which will be held from Saturday, July 16 to Sunday, July 24.

In the three-nation cricket series, each team will play the other team twice, making it six matches in a duration of eight days.

All the matches will be played from 4.30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST) or 12.00 PM local time. The Bready Cricket Club in Bready, Northern Ireland will host all the fixtures.

The Australian Women’s cricket team is coming into this series on the back of a 1-0 win over England in a T20I series held in January this year. While the Aussies won the first game by a thumping nine wickets, the second and third ended in no result due to heavy downpour.

The Pakistan Women played a three-match T20I series in Sri Lanka in May 2022 and beat the hosts 3-0. They registered wins by six wickets, seven wickets and four wickets, displaying complete domination. They will be high on confidence with these results.

The hosts, Ireland, faced South Africa in a three-match T20I series in their own home soil, but lost 2-1. While Ireland won the first game by 10 runs, South Africa came back to win the series with two back-to-back eight wicket wins.

Live streaming of the Ireland Tri-Nation Women's T20I Series 2022 matches will be available on the FanCode app and website in India. There will be no live telecast of the Ireland Tri-Nation Women's T20I Series in India.

The Australia women’s cricket team and Pakistan women’s cricket team will lock horns in the first match of the Ireland women’s Tri-series 2022 on Saturday, July 16.

The three teams - Australia, Pakistan and Ireland - will play in the first-ever Tri-series between them and all matches will be hosted at the Bready Cricket Club in Northern Ireland.

The Ireland women’s Tri-series 2022 will be a six-match affair with each team playing each other twice.

While Australia women and Pakistan women have announced their squads that will play in the Tri-series, hosts Ireland are yet to name their team.

The series will be a warm-up for both Australia and Pakistan, who are grouped together for the women’s cricket event at the Commonwealth Games 2022 that will be played at the Edgbaston Stadium from July 29 to August 8.
